Accordingly, BCINEUROTECH has developed its first attempt for neurorehabilitation in people with a movement disorder. We have maintained important approaches to designing and developing our neurorehabilitation system. Before anything else, detecting activity across the main cortices of the brain to obtain precise data and provide visual and audio feedback for people who suffer from visual and audio disabilities at the same time. Our technology is backed and trusted by the scientific, academic, and engineering communities. On top of that, it has been approved and validated by WIPO.

NEURO-REHABILITATION SYSTEM FOR PATIENTS WITH MOVEMENT DISORDERS

AND VISUAL DISABILITIES BY AUDIO-VISUAL FEEDBACK BASED ON DEEP LEARNING

Abstract

The system consisting of hardware and software applicable as a neuro-rehabilitation system based on brain-computer interface (BCI). The system comprises the following steps: the patients are asked to do the task through audio-visual instruction. Recorded EEG signals are received by computer. The received signals are pre-processed and classified by high precision machine learning techniques in real time. Simulated motor images and videos appropriate to the received signals are presented as a visual feedback. In addition, rhythmic audio signals are provided as audio feedback. This system expresses accuracy of performance on motor imagery as a percentage. Different percentages of accuracy of performance are also prepared to the patient by different music samples. The design of this system is such that it not only activates various sensory systems in patients with motor impairments, but is also suitable for people who suffer from motor and sensory disabilities, such as vision or hearing impairments.
